There are four available engines; thus, a Silverado 1500 for every job. 

• The 2.7L Turbo High Output engine offers 310 hp and 430 lb.-ft of torque. It is standard in the WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, LT Trail Boss, and RST Double Cab.
• Standard on the LTZ, RST Crew Cab, and High Country, the 5.3L Ecotec3 V8 engine is powerful enough to handle any task. It boasts 355hp with 383 lb.-ft. of torque.
• The 6.2L Ecotec3 V8 engine makes big jobs seem small; no wonder it comes standard in the off-road beast ZR2. with 420 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque, there's no job or terrain too hard to conquer.
• At the top of the lineup is the Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel engine. It offers 305hp and 495 lb.-ft. of torque and is as efficient as it is capable. 

Apart from the 2.7L Turbo High Output engine, which is paired with an 8-speed transmission, all the other engines have a 10-speed transmission. The 2023 Silverado 1500 is also a serious hauler with a maximum towing capacity of 13,000 lbs. and a payload capacity that ranges between 1870 and 2,260 lbs.

The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado offers a diverse range of trims to suit every driver's needs, from the hardworking WT (Work Truck) to the luxurious High Country. Each trim comes with unique features, ensuring versatility and customization.
