1969 was a good year, for more reasons than one. But mainly, it's because the Chevrolet Blazer was introduced to the world this year. Today, it's a force to be reckoned with on the road. Not only does this SUV look sleek, but it also handles extremely well.

Are you now interested in buying a 2021 Chevy Blazer? Then you're in the right place. We'll tell you all about this excellent SUV!

Trim Options

First off, we'll start with your trim options when it comes to the  2021 Chevrolet Blazer. What's great is you'll get 6 options! They are L, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier.

Read on for more details on each of these fantastic trims.

L Trim

First on the list is the L trim. Because it's the most basic one, it doesn't come with any upgrades. However, you can still expect to enjoy some amazing features!

For example, it comes with an 8-inch touchscreen Infotainment 3 system, which is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, you'll get a 6-speaker stereo, 4 USB ports, Bluetooth capabilities, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Other great features of the L trim include proximity keyless entry, alloy wheels, rearview camera, and dual-zone automatic climate control. As you can see, even the most basic trim comes packed with luxurious features.

1LT Trim

The next trim adds to the L trim, with the extra features being satellite radio, tinted windows in the rear, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat.

What sets the 1LT trim apart from the previous one is all the options you'll get. For instance, you can pick either the Convenience or Driver Confidence packages to enjoy some additional features. They include:

  • Power liftgate
  • Remote start
  • Heated front seats
  • Blindspot monitoring
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Lane change alert
  • Rear cross-traffic alert

As you can see, you can upgrade this trim to be more comfortable and safer!

2LT Trim

With the 2LT trim, you'll benefit from the additional safety features. They include lane keep assist, lane departure warning, pre-collision warning and braking, automatic high beams, pedestrian detection, and a following distance indicator.

Starting with this trim, you have the option of all-wheel drive in addition to front-wheel drive. Plus, you can add the Convenience, Drive Confidence, and/or Redline Edition packages at extra costs. The last gives your vehicle a much sportier and distinct look.

3LT Trim

This middle tier offers you a good balance of features and price. Here, you gain leather-appointed seats, as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Your front passenger will also get a six-way power-adjustable seat.

What's fantastic about the 3LT trim is both the Convenience and Driver Confidence packages come standard!

RS Trim

With the RS trim, you'll get everything you did in the previous trims, plus a heated steering wheel, navigation system, 8-inch driver information display, and liftgate that's hands-free.

If you want added luxury, you can opt for the Enhanced Convenience package. In it, you'll get an eight-speaker Bose stereo, ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, and power-adjustable steering wheel.

For even more luxury, you can also add the Driver Confidence II package. This includes adaptive cruise control, safety alert seat, high-speed automatic emergency braking, and wireless device charging. Chevrolet also throws in the convenient driver assistance features they have in their Sound and Technology package.

Premier Trim

The premier trim is the cream of the crop and gives you everything all the other trims have. However, it comes standard with the Enhanced Convenience package, as well as a cargo management system.

Engine Choices

The two most basic trims L and 1LT, come standard with an inline-four engine that's capable of 193 HP. Next, you'll get a turbo four-cylinder engine that does 230 HP. Last, but not least, the top two trims have a V6 engines that does 308 HP.

No matter which trim you choose, they come standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission. As we mentioned before, you'll have the choice of all-wheel drive starting from the 2LT trim.

For the above reasons, we highly suggest, to at least aim for the 2LT trim, as you'll get many more choices and power behind your Chevy Blazer.

Fuel Economy

When you are looking at SUVs, one worry you might have is how much of a gas guzzler it'll be. But with the 2021 Chevy Blazer, you won't have to worry about that at all!

With the base engine and front-wheel drive, you'll get 21 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway. With the turbo four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive, you'll get 22 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. If you opt for all-wheel drive instead, then you'll get 22 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway. If you opt for the V6 engine, the MPG you'll get is 20/27 (front-wheel drive) and 19/26 (all-wheel drive).
