Silverado EV Performance

To create the best performance possible, the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV offers an impressive 492 miles of range on the Work Truck, making it a range leader in the industry. The LT offers an extended range of 408 miles, and an extended range with the LP premium package that reaches 390 miles. The higher RST trim offers an extended range of 390 miles and a max range of 460 miles.

With plug-in or power-up charging options, including the GM Energy PowerShift Charger paired with the GM Energy Vehicle-to-Home Enablement Kit, it’s possible to get 100 miles of range in about 10 minutes of charging.

Silverado EV Interior

The interior of the 2025 Silverado EV is spacious and packed with tech tools. It’s quite impressive when you see that massive, nearly 18-inch infotainment system. Yet, there’s more to the interior. The two-tone leather upholstery with red piping is a nice touch, and though the WT has the fewest features, it’s still comfortable for busy tradesmen. There’s a large storage bin between the dashboard and middle armrest and lots of leg room for your crew to stretch out in after a long day.

Also note that the second row is roomy, with ample leg and shoulder room for three adults. The flat load floor allows you to really get a lot of cargo into this vehicle as well. It can haul whatever you need it to.

Silverado EV Exterior

Outside the 2025 Silverado EV, you have a few key features aside from the super cool look and design. That includes four-wheel steering, which is perfect for parallel parking needs, and the available Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension. With 24-inch wheels and a panoramic fixed-glass roof, it’s easy to think this vehicle is more luxurious than you expect. The Walk-Up lighting and Walk-Away lighting available feature is a nice touch that really ups the game with a more elevated look.

In the back, you have a Multi-Flex Tailgate. The bed is more versatile than older models, especially thanks to the pass-through Multi-Flex Midgate. Here’s the cool feature of this design. You can fit items of up to 10 feet and 10 inches in the back of your truck using the Multi-Flex Midgate with pass-through and the Multi-Flex Tailgate. These features, coupled with the strong, powerful look of the body, make the 2025 Silverado a strong contender for not just an EV-powered, efficient vehicle but also for a head turner.

Silverado EV Technology and Safety

The EV for 2025 offers a lot of key features when it comes to technology and safety. That includes a digital dashboard, which features an 8-inch digital display gauge as the standard option, along with an 11-inch infotainment system. However, the LT and RST also feature a 17.7-inch screen and 11-inch display. This really gives you more robust features and driving flexibility with more of the tech you want on hand. The climate controls, heads-up display, and overall dashboard layout are intuitive and well laid out. It feels natural and brightly lit, too.

When it comes to safety, the Silverado EV for 2025 has a long list of features, including standard adaptive cruise control, hands-free Super Cruise, and standard driver safety features such as automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection and lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist. Forward Collision Alert, IntelliBeam technology, and the Following Distance Indicator are additional Chevy Safety Assist features that are well worth it.

Chevrolet Silverado EV Trims

The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV offers three EV model trims. The Work Truck (WT) is the base model, and while technically designed for commercial use, it’s worth consideration for other needs as well.

Silverado EV Work Truck

The WT, or Work Truck trim model, is the Silverado's fleet-oriented truck rather than an everyday-driving truck for consumers. It's still an excellent choice for those who want options. Three battery sizes are available, the largest of which provides 492 miles of range, over 40 miles more than previous models. Additionally, the WT offers an upgradable Max Pack, which offers extended-range batteries.

With a payload of up to 1,440 pounds and a towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, it offers ample functionality for most needs. Seven outlets on board provide up to 7.2 kW of offboard power.

Silverado EV LT

The LT gets work done. This vehicle’s key features include a 5’11” bed with Multi-Flex Tailgate for flexible use, 11 outlets with up to 10.2kW of offboard power for available accessories (there’s also an accessory bar available to keep all of your devices and tools charged up), and a 17.7-inch, massive infotainment screen with touchscreen display. The 11-inch Driver Information Center is also a nice upgrade.

Outside, you’ll find an edgy look with uplevel exterior LED lighting, including an illuminated front bowtie. The available sidewinder adds capability and maneuverability to this vehicle by allowing you to turn all four wheels in the same direction, enabling the vehicle to move diagonally at lower speeds (how functional is that in tight areas). Rugged terrain or difficult parking spots stand no chance.

Silverado EV RST

The upgraded 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV offers many of the same features with more technology. This option still has the massive 17.7-inch touchscreen infotainment display and 11-inch Driver Information Center but also adds Super Cruise driver assistance technology. That includes Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, Driver Attention Assist, and numerous other features designed to make work easier and safer.

The RST also offers two battery pack options that give it a range of as high as 460 miles. It also includes the Sidewinder technology as standard.
