There are two new paint options, metallic Lakeshore Blue and Slate Gray, while OnStar and Higher-end now come as standard across all trims. 

Any model with the 420-hp 6.2-liter V-8 now gets an active exhaust as standard. 

The trims and packages have also been adjusted, with the Midnight Edition package now available on High Country trim and the Blackout package added to the Custom, Custom Trail Boss, RST, and LT Trail Boss trims. 

The base engine is a 5.3-liter V6 producing 355 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque, while the top option is a 6.2-liter V8 that produces 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. 

There is also the option for a 2.7-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which produces 310 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. 

If you're looking for a diesel truck, then the Silverado has you covered with a 3.0-liter Duramax diesel inline-six, which produces 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque. 

Overall, the Silverado's impressive array of powertrain options make it an excellent choice for a wide range of different situations. 

Starting with the LT, the Silverado has a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and touchscreen interface, which works exceptionally well with the included wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Building on the solid foundation of the Work Truck, the Silverado Custom adds a few more features for the perfect combination of workhorse and luxury. 

Practical upgrades, such as the EZ Lift tailgate, LED cargo bed light, and heated side mirrors that sit side by side with luxury touches such as cloth seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat, and a SiriusXM satellite radio. 

Optional upgrades include the Trail Boss package, which adds a 2-inch lift, and the Z71 package, which includes off-road features such as an Autotrac 2-speed transfer case, hill descent control, and an auto-locking rear differential. 

If you do a lot of towing and want to tow in comfort, then the LT trim is the one for you. 

The LT adds a range of comfort and convenience features, such as a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated seats, and a 3.4-inch color infotainment touchscreen. 

The optional 3.0-liter Duramax diesel gives the LT a towing capacity of up to 13,300 pounds.

The sporty RST is the perfect middle ground between work and play. 

It has a sport-tuned suspension, the full range of available engines, and a 3.23:1 rear axle ratio, making it an excellent choice for those needing to tow or haul heavy loads. 

Suppose you want to make the RST even more sporty. In that case, you can opt for the Rally and Redline packages, which increase performance by adding a performance-calibrated exhaust and a rally suspension package. 

Transitioning from a workhorse to more of any SUV, the LTZ trim adds more convenience and luxury features. 

The interior is loaded with luxury touches, such as a 7-speaker Bose audio system, a power tailgate, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, and a wireless charging pad 

But the changes aren't limited to the interior. The LTZ also has larger engine and transmission coolers and a revised suspension for a quieter, smoother ride. 

You'll also get the LT's Safety Package as standard on the LTZ.

It takes the LTZ's standard features and adds an even more luxurious interior with leather upholstery, power-adjustable pedals, front bucket seats with memory settings, and lots of chrome accents.

If the High Country is the height of luxury, the ZR2 is the most rugged and capable of the lineup. 

It's built on a unique off-road suspension with an electronically locking rear differential, skid plates, and Multimatic spool-valve shock absorbers. 

Front and rear e-locker differentials give the ZR2 superior low-speed control, while the Terrain Mode with one-pedal rock crawling makes driving in the most challenging terrain a breeze. 

The ZR2 also has 18-inch off-road wheels with a 31.8-degree approach angle and Goodyear Wrangler Territory mud-terrain tires. 

Skid plates and rocker panel protectors help protect the underbody from damage.
